Manoj Night Shyamalan, who directed movie like “The Sixth Sense”, “Unbreakable” and “Signs”, comes out with another movie of the same genre aptly named as the Devil. The movie provides enough chills to keep you at the edge of your seats. The movie is about chance encounters and random events and how they unravel a series of connections and dependencies upholding these chance encounters. The plot of the movie sounds simple, it is a group of 5-people who get caught up in a express elevator in mid-town Manhattan. It begins as an average day in the office, where 5-strangers take to lift to work and the lift breaks down in mid-way. The only thing common about the 5-strangers is that they have a horrible past hidden from everyone, and unknown to them is the consequences of their action, that has come to haunt them on this very day. With no where to run, they began to realise of the bad things happening to them have very good reasons for unravelling right know.
